Yeah a few of my friends were asking me to get on earlier and I mentioned it was down and they said they were playing fine.

Down for 15 minutes = everybody gets 1 free month of XBL? What kind of logic is that.
Also, Xbox LIVE has nothing to do with YOUR internet. It didn't shut it down.
