Xbox One controller charge kit and headset details

With the new console arriving in November, Microsoft have released details on the Play and charge kit, and also the new Microphone that has been established.

The Play and Charge kit includes a rechargeable battery pack, and a USB adapter that plugs into the Xbox One. This lets you charge the controller while playing your game, or when the console is in sleep/standby mode.

The Microphone contains pitch perfect wideband audio, and lets you mute or adjust the volume without having to take your hands off of your controller. There has been no confirmation about the microphone being included with the console yet. It was included with the 1st generation Xbox 360 back when it was released.

Epicsniper72 I already use a charge kit for the 360 and have saved so much money I pretty glad there making a charge and play kit for the Xbox 1


I only used batteries once and that was when they came with the controller, after they died I bought the charge kit and went from there.


Same here. What I hated most about batteries was having to change them every couple of days!

BDB Sounds alright to me, I think I'm getting the PS4 though... I dont wanna lose my PS3 account :p


Same reason I'm sticking with Xbox.


If I can afford it, I'll want to buy both. But the first I will buy will definitely be the Xbox One

That would be great, but also very expensive like imgur says. I wouldn't pay extra for wireless charge :D


It would be hundreds of dollars for the charger...
