Banned Xbox One accounts will keep their games

4.4
A couple days ago, a tweet was sent out that you would lose all your games if you get banned. Microsoft's Major Nelson came out a couple days ago, and said that you would still have full access to your games if you get banned on the Xbox One. Many sites such as TheTechGame have updated the users with the events.

Here is the old article we also have updated with the correct info.

ODST It sounds like "Major Nelson" is just dancing around every question. He's giving vague answers except for the one he was anticipating; the one about banning people. I want to know if the Xbox One will continue to work 10-15 years from now. I want to know if the games on the Xbox One will be functional 10-15 years from now. Don't dance around key questions like that becasue you have just lost another supporter of the XBL community.

That is a valid concern, they will pull the servers offline after 10-15 years of the Xbox One being out, will they issue one last firmware update before they go offline that will enable offline playing of our games?

They probably won't, I'm sure they will want you to buy the new console and games and get your money from there, but hey if they do then that's great for the gamers who will stick around on the Xbox One.

It was a mix up, It was on the Xbox 360 only, where you can't access your download history and get your games again or something like that.

They're talking about the Xbox One, people got confused with what they were talking about when it came to being banned.

Nice to see the HDMI will accept the 360.

Sorcery I'm really against a lot of the choices that they've made, but I like and trust the word of Major Nelson.

If he would have been the one talking about the Xbox One at E3, I'm sure it would have been way better for Microsoft, plus I'm sure he would have explained everything better.

This is good.

I can trust Mr. Nelson with this and most of the new polocies suck, including the ban system where you can get banned for trash talking and such things.
