Sony's policy on Media Content "You buy it, you own it."

4.5
When Sony announced the PS4 in Febuary, people thought they were very reluctant to give any details about the product. Many thought Sony were going to be changing a lot, but they are not. They have changed a bit, but in a good way for the community. Andrew House stated that if you bought the game, you should have the freedom to do what you want with it.

They have basically stated that there are not going to be any restrictions what so ever when it comes to your games, and what you do with them.

Oasis
911 I rent games ALL The time , so the whole used games thing will effect me , and ALOT of other people that also like to rent games to try it out or for whatever other reason.

It's affect...

Ever heard of demo's? Plus the rental market isn't going anywhere, there are measures they can put in place making the renting of games possible.

But if you're going to get a single player game that is a beat once and you are done with it, why buy it and not be able to sell it or lend it to friends? Even if they make it possible, they will still make it stressful...

I like this. This is the way it should be. You bought the game, you own it. You should be able to do as you wish. I don't even rent or borrow games anymore, but I agree with this. I should be able to play on or offline for as long as I want and give the games to whomever I please.

That's awesome, it is so true, if you buy something you should have the right to do what you want with it. Sony seems to answer every concern the gaming community wants or has.

Syke2013 Well the stupid pig Cu*ts names SONY Are just trying to annoy microsoft because microsoft's way in sharing games is different and is also WAY BETTER THAN SONY'S

I don't think Sony need to annoy Microsoft, Microsoft are to busy doing that to its own users. Sony is just listening to what its users want.

It's sad this this is considered something we would hope a company would do. It should be something considered a norm among gaming consoles. Tsk, tsk, Microsoft what happened to you?
