Save transfers might not be cross platform for Minecraft

4.5
Microsoft's Phil Spencer has been doing many interviews the past couple of days with companies. When companies asked if Minecraft worlds and saves will be cross platformed, Spencer said that there is no word on it yet. This means that not only do you have to re-buy the game, but you also might have to start your worlds over again. this has made some Minecraft users heated

Spencer also stated that with the new console there might be issues porting over the saves.

Oasis Surprising how?

It's a new Minecraft on a new console not an add on.

True Minecraft players enjoy starting from scratch.

Yeah, but nobody likes having to buy the same game twice.

I don't see what the difference between the two games are going to be, they should be the exact same except different names on the case, I really won't care that I would have to start over my worlds again though.

mysterious Well if world are going to be a lot larger on the Xbox One, how would saves be able to be cross platform? It's probably because Xbox 360 wont be able to handle the saves from the Xbox One version.

This is true, although, it would be possible for them to place the map on a bigger map... of course this could produce a lot of bugs for them though, so I can see why it wouldn't be cross platform.

It just sucks when you have a world, which is huge like mine or bigger, which some people do have and then you have to start again... I mean... I have a minigame on my world which is still not finished, but still includes over 100 rooms and a lot of redstone for a good 20% of those rooms.

I built a tower that stretchers from the first level to the sky barrier, furnished the rooms, added redstone and sem-automatic farms in less then 4 hours.

It's a small sacrifice.
