E3 2013: Minecraft: Xbox One Edition revealed

Microsoft has announced Minecraft: Xbox One Edition.

A trailer mentioned that more than six million Xbox gamers have played Minecraft on Xbox 360, creating more than 130 million worlds in more than 66 countries.

On Xbox One, Minecraft will offer bigger worlds and multiplayer.

Find it funny how people are annoyed because they may have to pay for Minecraft on Xbox One yet they will happily buy Call of Duty year after year with literally no changes!

Over 10 million copies of MC have been sold on the PC/Mac alone. Xbox did very little to rase MC's popularity. Probably every console developer would kill for the chance to have MC for their console.

I think they should put is as where you have Minecraft on your Xbox 360 profile, they should let you get it for free on the Xbox One. It would seem fair instead of buying it all again but I'm sure they will still charge for it.

im not sure, the people who created minecraft seem to be fair and listen to the community, but im sure they will try grab as much money as possible.

It's not 4J Studios I'm worried about, it's Microsoft. I'm sure 4J Studios will want to try and help the Xbox 360 who are transferring over but Microsoft might still put a price for like $9.99 or something.

Oh yeah i guess so, well idk, ill probably get it again, we'll just have to wait and see.

ODST Kinda didn't really announce anything other than "oh hey look, its going to be on the next console." Wish they had something about whether there would be more players in each world or what. so far, this conference has sucked.

They're probably not going to announce any of that yet. Hopefully they will allow like 12 players or something and like you can download servers and minecraft mods that Microsoft approves of. Like too many items mod and the PC "The Dropper" map.

I had a feeling they were going to bring this to the xbox one because how big of a hit it was on the xbox 360.
