Epic VP: PS4 and Xbox One 'not a generation ahead of PC'

4.7
There's no way that PS4 and Xbox One are "a generation ahead" of high end PCs, according to Epic Games vice president Mark Rein.

He took to Twitter to react to comments made by EA chief technology officer Rajat Teneja, who said last week of the upcoming consoles:
"These architectures are a generation ahead of the highest end PC on the market and their unique design of the hardware, the underlying operating system and the live service layer create one of the most compelling platforms to reimagine game mechanics."

Rein said in response:

They're good but they aren't as good as a PC.

er mer gerd its not better then high end pc's someone call the fudging police, i mean, seriously? Who cares. PC will never beat the price of a console and will never beat the convenience and will never ever beat sociability.

CRY ME A RIVER BEOTCHES.

I Might Try PC Gaming When I Get A New Computer, But As Of Right Now I Like Console Gaming A Lot More.

-LOST- Console gaming will always be better imo. I just have the fact that you use a keyboard and I don't think purchasing an add-on does it justice.

Keyboard = More Buttons
More Buttons = More Controls
More Controls = More actions and hotkeys
Controller = Less Buttons
Less Buttons = Limited Controls

Eh, I agree with the VP of Epic Games. Next gen (appealing to video gaming), to me, means new ways to play/experience games. Powerful gaming graphics and console specifications to provide such power aren't the only things that make the next generation. Xbox One focused on "all in one," but desktop computers are basically like that already :P They did show some cool ways to interact with Kinect that I've not seen before, but they've got to show more than simply browsing (or going from one spot to another; multitasking). PS4 focused on the gamers (which was awesome :D) and games, but...well...I actually don't remember much about their conference xD idk

My point is that there has got be more new and engaging ways to play/experience games :) :P

My Desktop has 16GB of RAM and my Laptop has 12GB of RAM, my personal home server has 64GB of RAM, therefor I win! Anyways I will be buying the Xbox One and more than likely the PS4, all in all I prefer PC but the comfort that a Console brings... Priceless :D
