Minecraft creator Notch receives golden PSone E3 invite from Sony

Markus 'Notch' Persson, the Mojang founder responsible for Minecraft, has been gifted a very special VIP E3 invite by Sony.

Whether Notch chooses to attend Sony's E3 press conference or not - which takes place on June 10 - he'll forever own this lovely gold-colored PSOne.
Unfortunately for Notch, the console came without its necessary video and power cables, so whether it works or not has yet to be confirmed.

The news is interesting because it encourages speculation regarding Notch's relationship with Sony. Minecraft is currently an XBLA exclusive in its console guise, but what kind of plans could Sony and Mojang have in the works for PlayStation 4?

Maybe we'll find out at E3.

-Maatzy- I think minecraft will come with the new ps3, as it means more money for Notch.
And last but not least, it's great for the ps3 players and soon to be ps4 players.


I am pretty sure minecraft is only going to be on the xbox consoles and pc. And notch has said he doesn't care about the money.


Notch doesn't even like Microsoft right now plus he's not the MAIN man in charge of Minecraft right now Jeb is plus all you people saying "wow Sony is a kiss ass and that Sony is jealous" No. Just No. What it is, is that they want a cool game like Minecraft on there console. Money obviously too is a main influence but are really gonna hate on them for wanting to make profit lol.
