Xbox One Controller Interaction with Kinect +Friends Limited increased

4.7
It has been confirmed that the new Xbox One controller will contain an red LED that will interact with the Kinect Sensor. This allows it to recognize who is playing. There have been over forty improvements made to the controller, coming down to the most simple vibrations that it makes.

The Xbox Support Team have also announced that the friends limit will be increased to 1,000.

They couldn't have been able to. The Xbox 360 wouldn't be able to handle it.

How does that make any sense at all? -_-

It makes perfect sense, the hardware couldn't handle the increase; if it doesn't make sense to you then your a bit of a dumb-ass.

1. How would HARDWARE have to do anything with a SERVER SIDE friends list?
2. Don't call someone a ******* when you can't use the proper use of the word "your", or "you're" in this case.
3. Also, ******* doesn't have a hyphen when being used correctly. (To my knowledge)

1. Your Xbox would still have to retrieve data and store in memory all 1000 of those players, as well as what they're doing the millisecond that they're doing it.
2. Somewhat agreed.

Wow Microsoft has put up a great competition with Sony on the next-gen consoles. I wasn't thinking they would increase the friend limit size to 1,000. Great ;)

I can see the friend limit bumped up to 200, I mean you wont actually use all 200 unless you just add anybody who sends you a request

Man this crap is going to suck. They are going to sell a us a $299 console, for crap they could have done years ago. Think about it, out of all these system updates they've come out with, not one contained an increase in the friends list. I'm not hating on Microsoft but they could have done better. They should have put all these new specs on the Xbox Slim. This is just a poor attempt at upgrading. I'm not a Play Station fan but to think that they already have the majority of the things that Microsoft is implementing into the "Xbox One", is just sad. I really hope they have something up their sleeves to "amaze" us because right now I'm sort of disappointed.

Zuki Very happy about the friends list although I'll never add 1000 people!

I agree. I'm happy they extended it, but I will never need 1000 spaces.

The console isn't out yet so I can't really judge the controller but I hope it works out and raising the friend limit is something they should of done on the 360 but it's nice that they are actually adding it.
