Good, society will advance without you. Its not that much money, if all you want to do is play those games then stick with the current console. Upgraded hardware means upgraded software too, if that's a surprise to you then you should probably just stop existing or take a common sense class. Its not because they want to deprive consumers of the ability to play old games, its because in order to create something new and significantly better it has to be completely redesigned. Its a technical issue, and Im sure over time there will be old titles re-released for the XONE just like our current systems. Quiet Whining and change your name to something that doesn't make me want to give up on society.

ahahaha. Society already did advance. It's called PC. NVidia already said the hardware in the next gen xbox is similar to processors they were developing in March 2012. A Xbox that isn't backwards compatible with XBLA and Last gen games is already a fail in my book.

sweet so not only is the console gonna be expensive but i also get the privledge of purchasing all new games making my 360 ones useless unless i wanna keep switching between the 2
