Assassin's Creed 4 protagonist aspires to be a 'man of quality'

4.6
"Edward Kenway is a raucous and bawdy chap," Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag lead scriptwriter Darby McDevitt told Polygon, "but he's also a married man, and one of his primary motivations in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is to get rich and prove himself a 'man of quality' to his family and betters." Kenway wants to chart a course to respectability - at least in the eyes of his time - and his tenuous marriage will serve as one of the central narrative threads in the game.

McDevitt also mentioned gameplay will be "more open and free than ever before," reflecting Ubisoft's earlier missive about the game paying heed to "the older philosophy" of the series. Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag will be available on Wii U, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 29, 2013.

i think there rushing this one so it will be out in time for next gen consoles im sure it would be a better game if it went went through a longer development cycle but what can we do about it nothing

Tide
Azare I want some actual gameplay.

The game is still being developed so I don't think we willl be getting gameplay for a bit, I am excited for it too though

Ik I'm very sad to hear that

I want to see the game in action but sadly it's still being developed

slapshot101 From the trailer and what I have seen. I think that this isn't going to be as good as AC III. The whole idea of a pirate game just doesn't seem that appealing to me.

I'm guessing AC130's in all your games and playing the same Call of Duty game is appealing to you. I loved the boat combat in AC3, it felt really good.

XKSR95 I really want this game, but I still haven't play ACIII yet. Slow the f*ck down with the games Ubisoft, please don't become as bad as CoD!

Exactly AC 2 in my opinion was the best and it has just gone downhill from there. The story is interesting but the gameplay is getting worse. Brotherhood was decent then revelations was pretty bad. Then AC3 was better but still no where close to where it should be. I don't want yearly releases for games. Spend your time working on game to make it to the best quality possible. There is a reason why I don't buy CoD anymore and love games like BF and GTA. They actually take time to make decent games. Stop rushing and putting our garbage for the sake of quick money. Won't be buying this one unless I see really good reviews.

Only thing is, if they want a good game they shouldn't bring another out just after 3.
