Next Gen Xbox reveal date announced.

Around 5 minutes ago, Xbox LIVE's Major Nelson tweeted that the Next Generation Xbox would be revealed on the Xbox Campus on May 21st, 2013.

"On Tuesday May 21st, we’ll mark the beginning of a new generation of games, TV and entertainment. On that day, we’ll be holding a special press event on the Xbox campus and we invite you to join us via the live global stream that will be available on Xbox.com, Xbox LIVE and broadcast on Spike TV if you are in the US or Canada."

On that day, we’ll share our vision for Xbox, and give you a real taste of the future. Then, 19-days later at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, we’ll continue the conversation and showcase our full lineup of blockbuster games.

The reveal was yesterday, and I really don't like the name "Xbox one"... I also think that it's kind of a joke because they're trying to expand away from just a gaming console but, in reality that's what most people only use it as.

Mortar The countdown has begun for a highly anticipated console. I think it is great that on TTG's home page there is an announcement for the reveal.

I hope they don't pull a playstation and I hope they actually show and tell us some stuff about the console. If they do that then it will no doubt beat the Playstation reveal.
