Black Ops 2 Won’t Be Getting Any More New Guns Via DLC

Black Ops 2‘s first map pack, Revolution included a bonus weapon as part of its offerings – the Peacekeeper SMG – for the first time in Call of Duty history.

With no gun DLC announced as part of Uprising, Black Ops 2′s second map pack, the community have begun wondering why there won’t be a new gun introduced to the game for people who purchase Uprising.

When people started to question Treyarch, asking if there was going to be any new guns included in the Uprising map pack, the developer cleared things up once and for all. The gun DLC was a one time thing for Revolution only and there are no plans to include weapons in future Black Ops 2 DLC.

Uprising launches on Xbox 360 April 16.

Oh my god shut the f*ck up. You had no idea that the first map pack was even going to have a DLC gun. And not to mention you're saving money on the DLC's by buying the season pass. It's YOUR fault that you bought the DLC's in advance without knowing anything about them. People you with your ignorance just make me want to do murder a whole f*cking town of you f*cks.

Well this sucks. They should keep doing this, like monthly, they would make a fortune off of it. It is a loss on their hand.

It's a shame that they decided to make this decision. Hopefully in the next Cod we will see more gun dlc because I actually really liked the idea.

They mentioned it was a 1st and last time they would do this.
To be honest i dont think they should of done this in the 1st place.

I already new this, it's the first time CoD has ever released gun DLC.
The Peacekeeper was a test to see if the community liked the idea.
At the minute I think it's 50/50.
