Sony warns of PS4 beta test scams

Sony says any web pages claiming to be offering the chance to beta test PS4 are scams.

The firm's European arm took to Twitter to advise users not to provide any personal details to sites pretending to offer PS4 testing opportunities.
Sony revealed PS4 last month and confirmed a PS4 release date of "holiday 2013" in at least one of Japan, Europe and the US.

It was probably a bunch of kids that fell for this.


Probably, you do have to be stupid to fall for scams like this, but it still should be stopped.


I don't see how people can fall for those scams but at least it has been addressed.

Scamming will go away when people stop falling for things.


Scammers need to be stopped though. Scammers are truly the worst people of the online community.
