Saints Row 4 receives release date & trailer

Just a few moments ago, a trailer was released for Saints Row 4, along with an official release date, which is August 20th, 2013 and has a release date of August 23rd in Europe.

It is noted that this isn't just Saints Row 3's "Enter the Dominatrix" DLC on a disk.
"That expansion was cancelled and elements of it were rolled into Saints Row 4," a spokesperson for publisher Deep Silver tells sources. "There will be a director's cut of Enter the Dominatrix released as DLC when SR4 comes out."

The game is being developed for PC and "current-gen consoles." In a follow-up, we clarified that does not include Wii U.

(I can't help but think this is just Saints Row 3 with different stuff added - Saints Row 3.5 anyone?)

That was intentional because in the trailer after it says 'I Think we've missed a letter' Then they do it again with the o.

I-DA-KING The graphics look too much like saints row 3, I hope they make it alot diffrent then saints row 3, Also hope this is for the 720 not the 360


Im sure it will be different, but looking at the trailer its not looking that way..

My problem is, i love the real badass, killing, mafia, gang missions and what not. GTA has always kept it real and at the same time funny with funny things in it, Saints Row 1&2 were like that and IMO better than gta. so ifthey had just made saints 3&4 i would probbly buy them cause they look kind of fun and different but im not used to the style for saints row now. sucks but im not gonna buy it, i made that mistake with saints 3

I don't think they are trying to compete with GTA. Saints Row is more of a mess around game now.


Yea, GTA is more (in my opinion) for fun and SR is just bored to screw around with.

Both games are still fun to play in my opinion so I'll be picking up both once they're released.
