Wii U Slumping in Sales.

The Wii U has been plummeting in the Market the past couple weeks. It has not been selling as it was thought to be. It had pretty good start, but people suddenly stopped buying the Nintendo system. At the end of March, the estimated consoles to be sold has dropped from 5.5 million to 4 million for the Wii U. This number may drop even more as we near the end of February.

Many people are expecting a price cut for the Wii U, but they will not be cutting it anytime soon. Many are demanding the price to go down, or they will not buy the system. Nintendo is not worrying about sales right now, the PS3 did the same thing around this time of the year when released. The sales suddenly increased on the PS3 within the next month.

Its a good console, but i wouldn't buy it.

The good thing with xbox 360 and ps3 most of your friends would have this not a Wii U

More games on the 360 and ps3

I just dont think nintendo will ever compete wtih microsoft and sony

they are not being ignorant, they are trying new things that other companies are scared of. Although I do think the wii u looked crap, but that was my opinion. I also thing the next gen consoles look crap


Don't knock it until you try it. I personally own one, and the exclusives, such as Mario Bros. U, and ZombiU, are pretty damn fun. The tablet controller can be utilized in plenty of fun ways that are interactive enough to be really useful, without just being a gimmicky distraction. WiiU suffers from the reputation of it's predecessor, and suffers from a small, active online community. I can see it taking off with a moderate price drop and an increase of games available (The pickings are pretty slim at this point).

I bought the wii u during the holiday season and it was SO HARD to find in my area. After the holiday season ended, store restocked and now I see like 40 in each store probally even more in the stock. Personally the 349.99 is a little pricey for this console but I only payed 125ish. I think the hot spot price for the system is about 250 for me. The console has many great games comming ahead but the best game that makes use of the wii u is currently only zombie u and mario bros u (for me).
