New Call of Duty confirmed for Q4 2013, 'will raise the bar even higher.'

Surprise, surprise, Activision has recently confirmed their plans to release a new Call of Duty game in Q4 2013 (October - December)

"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation and we expect a new Call of Duty game in development for 2013 to raise that bar even higher," said CFO Dennis Durkin during a financials conference call on Thursday.

He also added: "There is increased volatility this year due to the ongoing console transition, which makes predicting the future more challenging than during normal uses in the cycle. For Call of Duty, consistent with our past practices, we are planning for the main line release in Q4 to be down versus 2012"

Many expect that the next Call of Duty is going to be another from the Modern Warfare set of games.

lol not going to happen they will add a few weapons and maps, with another shitty campaign and call it a new game, that's all they ever do. i have no idea why so many people enjoy the same shit over and over.

Peer Sigh i love how so much people hate on CoD it's shocking, i still enjoy CoD yes it gets boring but that's when you just play a different game for a bit then go play CoD again of course its gonna get boring if its the only game you play. i really hope they do something big though because if they don't people will stop buying the game ( i know people already say that but they still sell millions on launch)


You got a point on the boredom factor. The thing is, CoD is selling less now, it's just the profits are higher because of the different editions they sell.


well not really remember MW2/Black ops1 both sold special editions but i'm pretty sure there would be a lot of people pissed if its MW4 unless the gameplay is mega good haha just hope CoD gets better on xbox720 :)

@Everyone else, if COD was that bad it wouldn't be one of the most sold games each year, and always be the most played game on XBL. A bad fps game Homefront, made by THQ, and now they're out of business, coincidence?

I'm in college where most people are over 15, and a lot of people play it. And why do people on this site feel the need to make up statistics to win an argument? Show me a graph which states the 90% of COD buyers are little kids.
