New Call of Duty confirmed for Q4 2013, 'will raise the bar even higher.'

Surprise, surprise, Activision has recently confirmed their plans to release a new Call of Duty game in Q4 2013 (October - December)

"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation and we expect a new Call of Duty game in development for 2013 to raise that bar even higher," said CFO Dennis Durkin during a financials conference call on Thursday.

He also added: "There is increased volatility this year due to the ongoing console transition, which makes predicting the future more challenging than during normal uses in the cycle. For Call of Duty, consistent with our past practices, we are planning for the main line release in Q4 to be down versus 2012"

Many expect that the next Call of Duty is going to be another from the Modern Warfare set of games.

No way! I would have never guessed there was going to be another cod.... But seriously I do hope they can use a new engine even though I prefer that over treyarch's terrible attempts.

I think IMO, What ever COD comes out. If it's an IW game & part of the MW series or maybe a new series, I think Treyarch should team up with them & put in Zombies. Cause Zombies is only in waw, bo1 & bo2, Maybe they should start fresh, Make a whole new story for a different game & not just their games.
