Red/Blue 'Super Slim' PS3s set for UK release

It has been revealed that two new colored versions of the super slim PS3 will be released across the UK from February 15.

The new consoles have 500GB of storage with two controllers each in matching colors. As you may already know from one of our previous articles, white PS3s are now on sale in Canada and North America.

"This year, PlayStation 3 continues to grow from strength to strength with a huge line up of exclusive AAA titles and brand new franchises including The Last of Us, Beyond and Puppeteer"

See the image above for a preview of the new super-slim blue console. It has a very nice, sleek design to it.

SovietRussia I really do like the variety that sony put's into their systems. You don't see a blue or red xbox unless you get a "game" console.


Yeah, I'm sure it's not to difficult to do either.


May not be difficult, but it does cost money. Plus I like the blue it looks nice!

Hopefully not too many people fall victim of this marketing scheme (besides collectors) as the PS4's release seems like the logical thing to wait for.

Overall however - I like the blue finish, but I'd much rather prefer the original black.
