Zelda: Wind Waker coming to Wii U in Autumn 2013

A lot of people were surprised today during Nintendo's Press Conference as they revealed that they are working on a HD remake of the GameCube classic, The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker for the Wii U.

The remake is the first Legend Of Zelda game on Wii U, and Nintendo are working on it alongside another Legend of Zelda game, which was showcased at E3 2011.

Eiji Aonuma (Game designer over at Nintendo) said that their new game is expected to take quite some time to complete, because it will 'rethink the conventions of Zelda.'

phlegm I loved Zelda for the original Wii, this should be just as good if not even better.

Never got into Zelda before. Played it on the gamecube once. Don't remember anything about it though.

I feel like the Wii was a big downfall for Nintendo but I gotta say the Wii U is kicking ass this sounds amazing all these great Gamecube game remakes they're working on I really feel like they're stepping up to the old reputation Nintendo use to have Nintendo games always used to be the best to me the only time when I was a kid id play my PS2 was probably for Kingdom Hearts 1-2 I hope Nintendo keep it up.
