Minecraft v1.4.6 coming before new year

Mojang have announced that while version 1.5 is under-way and going well. They really wanted Minecraft to have fireworks implemented before new years, so we can all celebrate in game.

The update will also bring enchanted books for enchanting items as well as an assortment of other bug fixes.

The following video will explain how to create fireworks, and a certain other little surprise.

Shikarku I wish they'd put more work into the xbox version, as it seems like every other week they are releasing updates for the pc but xbox gets one every two or so months.

I don't play this but I think that's a fair point why make an Xbox one if there not going to update it as much as pc

Well I am not going to lie, I like the idea of fireworks but... this just doesn't seem like Minecraft anymore. This is not how I remember Minecraft being and it just doesn't feel like Minecraft anymore or like I remembered it when I first started playing in Alpha.

Wow! Fireworks? I can't wait to see this. I wish it was for Xbox though.
