Petition for PC version of GTA:V collects over 47,000 signatures.

Earlier in the month Rockstar announced that the new GTA:V game would not be launching on the PC or Wii U platforms.

This clearly angered the PC community for whom GTA modding is a huge part of the games appeal to them.

So if you really want GTA:V to come to the PC platform then you should probably head over to:

Where you can sign a petition and hopefully make it happen. The online petition has already collected over 47,000 of the 100,000 signatures it needs in less than two weeks.

When asked why GTA:V would be coming to the PC and Wii U platform's Rockstar's vice president Dan Houser told IGN: "Everything else is up for consideration. That's all I can give you.

Hopefully a sign that if enough people show interest in the petition and make their voices heard, Rockstar could have a change of mind.

I still play SAMP almost daily, I still mod GTA SA with new mods almost daily as well. Why not release this for PC? I get if they were to do it later, but they just said that it would not be launching on PC at all. Wouldn't launching it on PC be easier because they have more room to work with hardware wise?

I think one reason why it isn't being released of PC is because of all the trouble they would go through to port console to pc because of all the graphics/gameplay/programming, idk. Just a guess.

GTA was one of the main reasons I switched to PC. The modding in it makes it unlike anything I've ever played. It honestly ruined my day when I heard this news. Needless to say, petition signed.

It makes no sense not to make it for the PC. Anything made on the Xbox still uses D3DX which isn't that hard to port XBOX->PC vice versa.

Because lots of people play GTA4 on the PC because of all the awesome mods out for it! If you ever tried it on the PC with mods, you wouldn't want to go back. Look at some mods on youtube like ICEnhance mod, and custom cars, skins, ect..
