Some players seem to be experiencing problems with their leaderboard stats in Black Ops 2 since Treyarch concluded a backend update on their servers.

Oddly not every detail has been reset. Users have reported having their playtime, score and ranks reset, but have kept other stats like their win ratio and K/D ratio. The issues currently only seem to be affecting Multiplayer and Zombie modes.

Treyarch soon caught wind of their players anger towards them and tweeted out to try to reassure players.

“Since this morning's backend update, we've been made aware of leaderboard issues that some are having — we're looking into it, stand by. “

“Currently working through server side issues re leaderboards...they'll be re-enabled as soon as we've fixed the issue...stand by. “

Hopefully no lasting damage has been caused to the affected players data.
