Kojima Productions has announced on their official Twitter account that the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC versions of the hit action game, Death Stranding, have surpassed 10 million users.

Death Stranding has been a hot topic since its release, and the number of users has steadily increased over time thanks to the implementation of additional content in the Director's Cut, the release of a PC version, and the support of subscription services such as Playstation Plus and PC Game Pass. Today, November 8th is also the date on which the game launched back in 2019, and celebrations were held in the studio to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the release.

Despite being a hugely popular developer in the industry, Hideo Kojima doesn't stop working. He recently launched a Spotify podcast where he elaborates more on the thought process that went into crafting his games, as well as his recommendations for books, movies, and music. Listening to music as you complete your delivery missions has been an integral part of the Death Stranding experience and turns out it was actually inspired by Kojima's real childhood as he used to listen to his Walkman instead of putting music on his phone.

Similarly to Death Stranding, Kojima is making the integration of real-life actors a staple in his projects, as per the inclusion of the actresses Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna in his upcoming mysterious work. Ms Tarasova Katerina, who is currently a producer at Kojima Productions, quoted Kojima's teasing tweets and posted with the tag "#DeathStranding". She later deleted that tweet and explained that her tweet was in the form of a question, and not confirming a sequel to Death Stranding, but it has become a topic among netizens that the new work might be in fact related to Death Stranding.
