FIFA 13: Messi stars in official TV advert

EA has released the official TV advert for FIFA 13, which you can expect to see all over the box in the run-up to the game's release next month.

The ad features the beautiful game's most celebrated modern player, Lionel Messi, who also stars on the FIFA 13 UK box art alongside Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Manchester City keeper Joe Hart.
EA Sports has confirmed a FIFA 13 release date of September 25 in the US, September 27 in Europe and September 28 in the UK. A FIFA 13 demo will launch on September 11.

G_Man In regards to advertising, you can understand Messi being featured on the game-art as obviously he's one, if not the biggest player in the world. I can't understand why Joe Hart and the Ox have been included though. Both aren't exactly marketable, and to the casual fan they might not know who they are. Wilshere would have been a better choice than Chamberlain, and Aguero a better choice than Hart. Puzzling to say the least.


Well the Ox some could say is a rising star and Joe Hart im not too sure about, but I think its a good idea, not having Rooney or other already pretty famous footballers

The developers are Canadian and EA is American. Why would they release it in the UK first?

It's only 3 days away from release game in America... Almost EVERY games made in America and they can do whatever they want.
