MW3 PS3 weapon patch notes released, Terminal fix ‘incoming’

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has received some a new weapon balancing patch. Infinity Ward has revealed all buffs and nerfs in a forum post, and announced that the DLC map Terminal will be lag-free by launch.


The changes – listed on the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 forums rebalance a handful of assault rifles and SMGs:

FAD – increased damage and range
M16A4 – increased damage and fire rate
AK47 – reduced kickSMG’s Buffed
UMP45 – increased damage
MP5 – increased fire rate
PM9 – reduced kick
MP1st is also reporting that the free DLC map Terminal is being patched and an update will be available in time for when it launches on Call of Duty: Elite PS3 August 16.

The fix remedies known matchmaking issues and lag problems with the map.

Smurfs I don't think the UMP needed a power increase. I use it all the time and it's already really good.


Well u know activsion, ruining games as always , now everyone will use UMP and 2 hit people


The ump with a suppresor, was kind of weak. You could shoot a person with a good 5 bullets and still not get the kill
