Rumor - 343 working on Halo 2: Anniversary Edition

According to the rumor section in the latest Official Xbox Magazine, a Halo 2: Anniversary Edition is in the works from 343 Industries. “Following the success of remake Halo: Anniversary, 343 Industries has now started development of Halo 2: Anniversary,” reads the rumor blurb per CVG. We’ll send a mail. Currently, 343 is hard at work on finishing up Halo 4 for release in November.

They messed up big time on that, Halo Reach is NOT Halo CE :facepalm:

I sure hope that this time they make Halo 2 multiplayer true to what it actually was on the Halo 2 Disc for the original xbox, if it's anything else, no sale, I sure hope someone from 343 Studios is reading this.

This will be awesome I loved playing halo 2 when I was younger, it was my 3rd xbox game :)

That would be amazing. Halo 2 was my first game I bought when I got my 360 even though it was an original xbox game

-Ariana Yay! Any true Halo fans understand that Halo 2 was the best Halo by far. I cannot wait! Maybe they will make a Halo 3 Anniversary after...:)


Would be a little pointless.

Halo 3 is available on the 360, also still has online.

Although maybe one day, on the Xbox8 or whatever its going to be called. :D


Im guessing they will do it 1-3 years after the halo 2 anniversary edition.

Halo4 Hate to ruin it, but they already said they're not working on a Halo 2 Anniversary AT THE MOMENT.. they said this two days ago with a Q&A with Expert Zone, I would like to see a H2A is 2014.

As well as it being on the new Xbox, not the Xbox 360.
