iTours Just cause all the previous call of dutys "smashed the records" doesnt mean that the buyer liked the game. I my self bought blackops 1. Played it for about 2 weeks, then got bored. Yes they anticipate it alot to make you want to buy it. Thats why they advertise and send out teasers like this one here. Yea alot of people bought the game, but out of that percentage of people, how many of them sold it after a month or traded it in? Think about that next time.
You're right, but now answer this.
Since apparently everyone traded in the game because they found it boring, then why was Black Ops the #2 most played game on Xbox 360 since MW3 came out, and #1 before MW3? (And now #3 because of Minecraft.)
Even Battlefield couldn't get more online players than Black Ops. Just because you and a couple other people said they traded in Black Ops/MW3, doesn't mean a whole bunch of people are. Think about that next time.

im not getting defensive im just saying how are you going to judge a game if you havent played it. If he would of said something like i think this game is going to suck imo then it would have been different
Easy to judge a game by looking at the patterns in the past Call of Duty games. All the trailers are built to look good but showing the best parts when you get the game you are just getting the rest of the stuff that hasn't changed and has already been seen before. You can also know this by looking at some of the recent posts saying they are not upgrading their engine, They can't improve something that they already brought the most out of that they can. This is why they had to put it in the future, people were getting sick of the same old CoD games.
people were getting sick of COD games? which is why they continue to smash records countless years in a row? and isnt every game gonna preview parts of a game that interests ppl? and you expect to play a game that all you do it blow up **** and drive around choppers 24/7? wouldnt that get old quite fast? and are you supposed to preview a bunch of guys just talkin to each other on the game? obviously not. grow up since im assuming your 10-14 and think about whats goin on for a bit.. it rlly is quite simple. treyarch has yet to fail ppl who are skilled in cod. ppl who arent skilled hate it cuz it takes skill for multiplayer. and zombies is a give in for anyone.

you good at zombies= get the game anyway but still complain about multi
You suck at both= you play battle field
You play battlefield= You point out the "bad" things there is in cod
You point out the "bad" things you realize you enjoyed them.
You realize you enjoyed them= you go back to cod for a bit
You return= you get pissed off again because you suck

I sucked in modern warfare 1 but loved the game. People are just realizing they are buying the same game over and over. I think MW3 showed it when sells slowed down. Slowly cod will die. I am decent in black ops but only love zombies. Multiplayer isn't that bad but i rather play Gears of war 3 or Minecraft then mess with all that.

I signed in purely to give my 2 cents. I've done everything on CoD, I've played since CoD 4, bought every game on release, played gamebattles , quickscoped, focused on KD and all that other **** in between. Im not 10-14 before you call me a kid, but I feel I stand for a good percentage of the Old cod generation when I say cod is shite, boring and pish. Battlefield is good but I am just a general gamer because im sick of cod, It gets old, they make it worse and they dont even rehash it, they just don't know what they're doing with map flows, layouts etc
All the "old cod generation" I know still play COD. Battlefield is fun but all the vehicles and camping(yes more camping then COD), and having to depend on idiots to work as a team.
On COD it's just gun vs gun, and I don't need to depend on my team mates as much as battlefield.
