Europe Expects PS3 3D Display Delay

4.7
Sony has delayed the European launch of its PS3 3D display, which was revealed at this year's E3 expo.

According to Amazon: "We have been informed by our supplier that there will be a delay in obtaining stock for this item and it will no longer be released in Europe in 2011."
SCE UK told us this afternoon that it didn't have a statement or update to offer on the product's release. The full HD 24 inch display comes with a pair of glasses, a HDMI cable and a game in the US, where it launched earlier this month. In UK, where it will cost about £410, the same display will come with no games but two pairs of 3D glasses.

The display is capable of not just 3D play, but a neat trick that allows two players to play together on the same display without the need for split-screen - the 3D glasses separate the two (2D-only) pictures for you.
