Microsoft on Halo movie: ‘No plans right now’

Microsoft have responded to rumours linking Steven Spielberg with a movie adaptation of Halo by saying that they are currently committed to developing Halo: Anniversary and Halo 4.
However, they didn't rule out the possibility of a Halo movie happening at some point in the future.
A spokesman for Microsoft told Video Gamer: "The information in the press release in question is inaccurate. We have no plans for a Halo feature film right now. Our focus is on developing Halo: Anniversary and Halo 4.
Spielberg is known to be keen on bringing the franchise to the big screen, and it presumed that he will not give up at this point.
Halo: Anniversary is released on XBox 360 on November 15, with Halo 4 due out at the end of 2012.

The_Beatles They should make the movie after they finish the Halo: Anniversary. Or after they have planned out Halo 4. I doubt it will be cartoon like Halo: Legends though.

Its coming out next winter, they dont have much of it planned.

Dont understand why they dont do it, massive fanbase. If it flops..oh well. If it is a success, expect sequels and appearances from other games.

They released like, the 8 mins of the halo movie.
looked really good. and it was live action
