Sea of Thieves’ First Major Content Update Coming May 29th

Today Rare and Microsoft announced the release date for Sea of Thieves‘ first major content update.

The update is titled The Hungering Deep and it will be released on May 29th, which means that it’s less than two weeks away.

Alongside the announcement, we get a trailer talking about giant sea monsters, ancient seafarers, sacrifices, which is some really intriguing stuff, even if we haven’t seen or heard much about the gameplay just yet. Hopefully, this means that this is heavily story-driven content and Rare doesn’t want to spoil it.

Story content, huh? Would be nice to have, honestly. They should've had that from the beginning.
To bad the game is mostly flopped now, since the launch was so content lacking.
They have a chance to revive, but they need to do something massive to attract those they lost.
Such high hopes, dashed.
Would love to see it revived, the right way.
