Microsoft details how it’s issuing refunds after Marvel Heroes Omega

4.3
Microsoft has more clearly outlined how it’s issuing refunds to players who bought DLC for the now-defunct Marvel Heroes Omega.

Players who bought DLC after September 1, 2017 should be getting an automatic refund either in the form of store credit or direct refund.

In a statement on their official help site, Microsoft said:

“You will receive an automatic credit or refund if you purchased Marvel Heroes Omega DLC from the Microsoft Store between September 1 – November 29, 2017.

“For Marvel Heroes Omega DLC purchased between October 31 – November 29, 2017, your refund will be credited to your original payment instrument. For Marvel Heroes Omega DLC purchased between September 1 – October 30, 2017, your refund will be in the form of store credit.”

Any refund or credit should have appeared in your account by January 31, 2018, so if it’s not materialised by then, it might be time to contact Microsoft support directly.

It is good they are doing the refunds. I just hate to see any game shut down. I know someone put really hard work into this.

Maspro Why are they giving out refunds for the dlc?

It literally says in the article..

The article barely explains why "defunct Marvel Heroes Omega" doesn't explain alot....

To answer Maspro question, Disney ended their relationship ship with Gazillion Entertainment which forced them to Shut down Marvel Heroes Omega.
