Speaking on Twitter in response to a fan’s question about a potential delay, Spencer said that the console is still on track for its November release date.
The rumors started gaining ground due to the continued lack of information regarding pre-orders for the console. However, as has previously been noted, the reason for the lack of pre-orders is due to the console not yet being approved by the Federal Communications Commission.
The Xbox One X is scheduled to launch on November 7th for $499 and features an upgraded graphics card and processor, as well as support for 4K resolutions.
Late last week, a new rumor claimed that Microsoft is already working on the successor to the Xbox One X. According to the report, the console already has a codename internally and is not expected to launch until after 2019.
Still on track for November 7th. Feeling good about that date.
