Xbox head Phil Spencer offers updates on Project Scorpio

4.8
Xbox boss Phil Spencer has shared his confidence in the upcoming more powerful Xbox One model, codenamed Project Scorpio, with a pair of quick updates on the system.

A fan recently tweeted at Spencer, inquiry about when the rest of us might see more on the console. Despite expressing his desire to fill us in, Spencer couldn’t let anything slip about the system, although he did let us know the development team has been doing good work.

In a second tweet, Spencer noted that he’s now played games on the system for the first time, adding that the “console looked right,” presumably referring to the hardware’s physical design.
Project Scorpio is expected to launch in late 2017.

GiveMeRep4free its funny a lot of console gamers complain about how PC needs to be updated constantly, but MS release an updated xbox and everyone thinks its great. This console is what the original xbox one should have been. You only had to wait 4 years to finally be able to play 1080p 60fps on every game instead of 900p 30fps.

Id rather just have something that I can upgrade myself instead of having to wait 4 years for a company to tell me i can upgrade..

Nice to hear this, though I'll wait for more specs to be released before I commit :P
