Xbox One Beam integration, Arenas, and bitstream support coming soon

4.6
During Microsoft's Windows Creator Update event today, it was announced that Beam, a game-streaming service similar to Twitch will be integrated into Windows 10 and Xbox One. Beam was acquired by Microsoft back in August and will allow users to watch and interact in “near real-time” with the broadcaster.

PC gamers will be able to load the Windows game bar interface and click the Beam button.

Arenas on Xbox One was also detailed at the event. Arenas will allow users to create tournaments, which you can then set tournament style, define rules, invite friends. and track tournament progress across on both Xbox One and Windows 10.

Finally, Dolby Atmos X and bitstream audio are coming soon to both Xbox One system models.

This is all apart of the Creators Update coming as a free download in early 2017.

Seems really interesting. Never have heard of Beam before, but am always a fan of seeing more live streaming opportunities for gamers.

Not sure if this was a good idea, as right now I don't think it's possible to compete with Twitch.
