Red Dead Redemption 2 players on PS4 get early online content

Looks like PS4 players will be given “first access to earn select online content” in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Sony announced the deal on the PS Blog this morning, promising details would be revealed “soon”, so we really don’t know what exactly what “first access” to “select online content” means at this point.

The content could be specific modes or maps, or particular unlockables similar to Sony’s Activision deal with Destiny and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Black Ops 3.

The teaser trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 was released today.

Rockstar has tagged the game for a fall 2017 release on PS4 and Xbox One. Hopefully, a PC version is also in the works and we won’t have to wait until 2018 or 2019 to get it – if it’s in the plan at all.

I guess this is an advantage of having a ps4 even though the servers are down half the time.

Saying "at least im on PC" is literally putting yourself in last place right now lol. You're not even getting RDR2 and if you do, it'll be a whole extra year before your release. Lol at all the butthurt PCMR scrubs.

This is the kinda bullshit that is literally ruining gaming, i have to wait another 30 days (Usually) to play a game im hyped for. by then the game has been completed 1000 times over and completely spoiled all over the internet. Plus every Youtuber and his mother has posted game play videos and what not to do on X game. Its stupid, i hate this kinda shit, why am i getting punished for choosing a different platform? #Logic
