Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Weapon Crafting Detailed In New Video

4.3
Ahead of this weekend's beta for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Activision pushed out a video explaining how the game's new weapon-crafting system works.

You'll still unlock weapons for use in multiplayer by leveling up, as has been tradition in CoD games since Modern Warfare. In addition to that system, you'll unlock special prototypes that come in three levels: Common, Rare, and Legendary. Every weapon has a unique perk, which take different forms such as rewarding players who get kill streaks at or above certain numbers.

Besides unlocking weapon prototypes, you'll be able to craft them by collecting salvage "in a variety of ways," per the video.

I'm just hoping this game isn't as bad as everybody is making it out to be, Although the crafting system doesn't seem too good to me sounds like a minecraft feature.

lolohnoeszsz This game looks terrible. I miss old cod games where it was just running around on foot and using good but not op looking weapons. Devs need to go back to this **** this wall running and boost jump shit it's stupid.

The problem is that if the devs go back to boots on the ground gameplay, they get called lazy and terrible for rehashing the same game and not doing anything innovative. The CoD playerbase is so massive that it's literally impossible to please every person out there. I think what Activision is doing this year is perfect. There's a new CoD that is innovative and looks incredible while there's also a nostalgic boots on the ground CoD4 for everyone who hates new and different.

Its hard to judge a game before you play it. Quite frankly, im not sure how I will feel about this game, but with the beta tomorrow hopefully ill see some appeal! Weapon crafting looks a little over the top, but im sure ill cope with it. Very interesting.

I was one of the people who thought BO3 would be good before it came out, and turned out...to be good imo. I liked it. But IW by IW doesn't look good imo. I don't know. I was disappointed a little with MW2, and MW3. The recoil on the guns just look non-existent. But then again, thats a lot of cods. This game just doesn't give me that appeal that BO3 gave me. Especially when I lost appeal of cod for awhile until BO3

While this wont compare to BOG cod's this doesn't look all that bad, although that's what I've been thinking for the past couple of years and the games turned out to be crap.
