No Man’s Sky’s Latest Trailer Showcases The Game’s Combat

4.6
Following the release of the “Explore” trailer last week, developer Hello Games has now given us another glimpse into the world of No Man’s Sky. The new trailer, titled “Fight”, showcases some of the game’s combat, which is centered around both space battles and on the surface of the various planets.

The video shows off the game’s spectacular space battles with a sequence of smaller spaceships dog fighting, while massive transport ships loom in the background. On the ground, we get to see various different weapons being used in combat against a giant crab-like alien as well as the robotic Sentinels.

As mentioned earlier, “Fight” is the second trailer in the four part series, after “Explore”, and will be proceeded by “Trade” and “Survive” in the oncoming weeks. The purpose of these videos is to give players an idea of the various activities and features, present in the game world.

No Man’s Sky is a science-fiction space adventure game set in a procedurally generated universe of over 18 quintillion planets, all of which will only take up 6 GB on disk. The game also recently went gold, and is set for launch on the PlayStation 4 and PC on August 9th in North America, August 10th in Europe and August 12th in the UK.
