Pokemon Go is now rolling out for iOS and Android

4.6
With all the news surrounding Pokémon Go's beta test and wearable, you'd be forgiven for thinking the full game was already out. Until recently, it wasn't, but that's changing if you live in the United States and have an Android device, as spotted by 9to5 Google. Rocking a handset designed in Cupertino? Well, only iPhone owners in Australia have access at the moment so a measure of patience is in order.

The game that brings Pokémon collecting into the real world via developer Niantic Labs' augmented reality and GPS tech has been gestating for quite a bit. The intent, Niantic CEP John Hanke told us back in June, is to make you feel like you're venturing out into the world and capturing the pocket monsters for yourself. "You can live the story of being a Pokemon trainer," he said. Now it's time to discover how quickly can you catch 'em all.

I am loving this game right now. Just wished the servers would not shit a brick every 30 minutes.

Come on Niantic get your crap together.

I'm not a Pokemon sort of person and play this game for hours. Used to play this as a young kid but not anymore. Not my sort of interest to be fair. Well, have fun iOS users

JirelSkills Tip if you are on iphone and want to use the pokemon GO app:
Create an Apple ID.

Note: Make sure you set Australia as your country while creating the Apple ID.

1.Create a new Apple ID from your iPhone.
2.In the Apple ID creating process, when it asks for your credit card, select "none".
3.Enter an Australian address and all valid Australian address info. (Google an address)
4.Go to the App store and look for pokemon GO.
5. Sign in with your new Apple ID and download.

Enjoy!

I tried this, get an error every time and advises to contact apple support. Even tried using an Australian VPN and same thing D:

I really like the concept, they're making it so people get off their backsides to do something. Love that.
