37 years old and was laid off from my job in November. Bought my first house in 2019 just before the economy magically went to shit. Now I'm struggling to get a new job outside of fast food or something like that. It's a weird thing when you work for your family business and get laid off without notice. So I'm scraping by to save my house for right now but it's getting tough. The only good thing I have going is since the economy is in the trash, the value of my house has more than doubled if I end up having to sell but then that leaves the whole where do I go from there unresolved.
Been trying to learn everything I can about programming while I have the down time. It blows my mind, someone in my family is a graphic designer and told me they were paid $75k making their first website and I dont see how tf |
