fosters is such a misrepresentation of australia, its what the average australian would refer to as "horse piss" in terms of beer... that being said... it probably is still closely related to a few of the major beer brands still operating from the same time period as fosters but is in no way what i would consider the "norm" for beer in australia nowdays

Fosters had an ad campaign showing/saying that it was the beer of Australia, so obviously from a non Aussie standpoint, we assumed it was. There is no such thing as a norm beer anymore at all, people don't just go buy one single brand of drink they try new ones, they explore.

thats soo true.... just look at bud light ... now no ones trying it .... all jokes aside... im a fan of all the good beers out there now, especially the local brewers that have taken the market share of the 3 mega corporations that have dominated here for so long.

Both taste pretty shit compared to most other beers imo, I do love a local beer. I live in Cornwall - UK so I've got loads of ales (St Austell Brewery - which make Proper Job, Tribute they even make a lovely larger called Korev which is actually quite cheap for a pint) same goes for your area I guess, highly dominates over imports. Which personally I prefer. Just go to a shop if you want a renown drink haha

It's okay, if you pour the remaining can down the sink.
