Hey guys, my pc hasn't been waking up lately, requiring me to hold my power button which has become annoying.

I have been reading every forum almost and applied all settings which worked for a short time. After it bricked up again after it was working fine, I just reset pc settings and kept files. That worked for a short time also. Then again after it woke up a few times throughout the day without needing a reset but eventually did. So I ended up also reseating my CMOS battery. Seemed to to do the trick and was okay for a full day, no reset needed. But then it just randomly stopped waking up after I moved the mouse but never typed my pin since I was playing Xbox on my tv nearby. Still worked triple the time it was before everything else.

I just think it could be hardware? I need help please. As of this second, its waking up just fine. I just woke up and moved my mouse and pc woke just fine.

I think I have the same issue as you? I end up turning my monitor off via the rocker switch at the back. It's basically the equivalent of pulling the plug out from the wall and plugging it back in. That seems to do the trick.

Else, go into your settings and just set your PC not to lock.
