Yooo so I just recently upgraded to a radeon rx 5700xt 50th anniversary edition but the performance on this card is absolute trash! I'm not getting 100% gpu usage in a lot of games which causes lower fps than my old gtx 1060 6gb. Basically, I'm getting stuttering, under-usage, and trash performance in general. I have a ryzen 5 3600x and 16gb of 3200mhz ram, so there is no bottleneck. Has anybody else had similar problems with their 5700, and is there any workarounds?

Did you use DDU to fully uninstall the 1060 GPU drivers? Things could be conflicting causing your system to freak out since it sees drivers for two different cards.

Display Driver Uninstaller

Run this and do a full clean of your Nvidia GPU drivers then restart. I'd re-install the AMD drivers too for good measure.

Hundreds of variables.

As above, did you properly uninstall old drivers before installing the new ones?
What case do you have, and what is your cooling set-up like?
What are temps of the CPU + GPU in game?
What are CPU + GPU utilisation %, as well as clock speeds sitting at in game?

What game(s) specifically are you having trouble with, and what is performance like now compared to before?

I uninstalled the old drivers from the apps and features page. Idk if this is considered proper
Case is a nzxt h510, and everything is run on stock cooling hardware with an an additional 2 case fans.
Temps of cpu max out around 45-50 C and gpu maxes out around 75 C.
Cpu usage is always relatively low, with clock speeds on average of 4ghz, and usage percentage never passing 50 on any game. While gpu usage varies widely on different games. I get 50-65% on cs go, i get like 70% on bf5 and bf4. Reduced usage on a few other titles as well. Thanks bro.
