TOTS Votes aren't necessarily reserved for the best players - Southampton have had the most premier league clean sheets this season, on top of this, Bertrand has started almost (if not) every game for Southampton and played huge parts in a lot of their goals, scoring and gaining assists. In my mind, Azpilicueta is the best Left Back in the premier league currently. But, going on the criteria I've just mentioned - Bertrand should deserve a TOTS card over Cesar. |

No one is disputing that @Drago. It's on current form and how they are performing.
I could quite simply say Falcao and Di Maria are two of the greatest players in the world therefore deserve to be in TOTS, but neither are performing to their spectacular and stellar credentials. Bertrand has played very very well and been more important so far this season to Southampton than Azpi for Chelsea. Relative. |

I get what you are saying, but in my opinion, players that have performed the best in the current season deserve the TOTS cards and for me, that is Azpi. Not taking anything away from Bertrand though, he has really shown his quality this season & can hopefully carry it going in years to come! |

I know this is all opinion based, but somewhere Fifa obviously have to come to a conclusion, and how would anyone justify Azpilicueta being the form Left back of the season - Bertrand has kept more clean sheets, even had more assists and more goals than Azpili this season. Again as you know, I rate Azpili highly and he is a great player to watch - but I find there is not a single item on the table that could justify him having a better season than Bertrand apart from league position, which is just circumstantial from the club he plays for. |
