Well that Chelsea game was just horrid, to be fair cech could have saved some I think and I really don't see the point in Mourinho even playing Mikel he does nothing get Paul Pogba signed

Chelsea's move to strengthen their squad has taken a fresh twist after Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Douglas Costa confirmed they have made an offer to buy him, with the Blues reported to have bid 16million.

Also anyone heard about that?

Heard us linked with Douglas but what's the point us signing a player that doesn't improve our starting XI? He's probably not as good as Oscar and I'd rather Willian in RW.

If Cuardado doesn't want to come, we may as well keep the squad we've got and re-evaluate in the summer. No need to be rash and make changes for the sake of change

Tbh we have proved we have no depth , When our first team is going good then we are almost unstoppable - Enjuries and fitness have casued us issues.

Apparently we are tying to sign both and let andre and Salah go.

The game yesterday showed us that beyond our starting 11, we have nothing. We just can't rely on our fringe players...

I can't really say anything about the game because I couldn't watch it. I wouldn't say an FA Cup upset is representative of our fringe players' abilities though. These types of things happen all the time. I think we do need to bring in some players in the summer as backups but I'm not sure we could convince Costa to play backup, especially with Schurrle/Remy desperate for game-time. I guess we could sell Schurrle but I'd rather keep Schurrle and use him as a catalyst for the Reus deal.

Just goes to show, this is something you could take with a pinch of salt, players that aren't starting every week (we had it against MK Dons) will struggle against teams that are no where near the same quality but play together as a unit and have confidence.

I was really surprised though since it was at Stamford Bridge.

This is why English football is so exciting, anyone can beat anyone, especially in the FA cup

So when are we supposed to judge our fringe players? - These guys barely get time and espically in the BPL , These are the games they should be thinking "Ive got a chance here" and using that to get into the BPL / first team

So you think a good game vs Bradford is enough to get a place in the first team?

To be honest, substitute appearances in the league and good performances in training are much better indicators than games against lower opposition.

Schwarzer got a start before for performing well in training
