Yes You can agrue suarez was not and they linked amazingly but someone like benzema, Higuain is who we need at liverpool it's just bringing a big name into anfield at this present time.

It depends how Pellegrini feels Aguero is doing after injury I think, they looked at their strongest with nasri/navas on each wing playing a 4231 with Aguero up top, I mean I cant ever really keep track with City, they seem to change it up each season, but I would have to feel Dzeko will go by the end of the season.

How many times have we all thought Dzeko would be leaving at the end of the season though? , And even if city do play only 1 ST , Its not just about Dzecko - Would bony or Jovetic be happy to be 3rd choice , Bony was top goalscorer of 2014 wasent he? , Jovetic was doing amazing in Serie a and wanted by a lot of clubs , All 3 are 26 or younger , In 1-2 years each of these STs should be in the prime of there playing career.Why would anyone of them (Id assume jovetic) accept being 3rd place?

We have drogba - A guy who is considering retirement as our 3RD option so we have no problem (Though he seems to play as second choice , Remy barely plays which is confusing)

The interview was strange , He didnt say anything negative and everything went fine but i just wasent happy with it when i came out , He said to me he would offer me a conditional offer which meant he would set me a brief (Just like a client would) id have to do it , Send it to him and we would see how good it is and wethor or not i got accepted , Today i checked my emails and i have a email saying he talked to his colleagues and i have been offered a unconditional offer meaning ive been accepted with no need to do the brief so obviously a awesome outcome (It was my first choice) but i defiantly didn't think it went well haha.

I agree, however, in the situation Brendan found himself in at the time, desperately needing a striker - I'm just surprised there was no talk of looking into Dzeko, would've been relatively inexpensive (not cheap perhaps) but proven himself in the prem league, and yeah, not getting a start, seems a no brainer to at least have a look

True but surely since suarez left brendan had his eye on someone, Yes he got balotelli but I think that was more a stab in the dark, 'One hit wonder buy', I mean when sturridge and balo linked at spurs it looked promising but because sturridge has been injured has meant no link up, lambert & balo doesnt work and borini may be off to swansea

Maybe give balo till the summer and link him with sturridge but I still feel we need another striker : Higuain/Benzema/ Maybe Dzeko, who knows what this transfer window will bring

True and to be honest I think Liverpool can still attract strikers like Benzema/Higuain etc, my point isnt that Dzeko is the best player Liverpool could've signed, just surprises me that Dzeko hasn't sparked a lot of club interest given his situation
