it's literally been "almost every game", every saturday, every year since the 60s.

The reason I don't pay for Sky Sports/BT Sports.

Can't see the rule ever changing due to lower league football but thank the internet for VPNs.

It's a rule that should've been scrapped, I don't physically remember that far back idk why but growing up I didn't watch football like I do now, I go pub instead. I just don't see why it's still around. Streams make the whole idea of it stupid. I always get dodgy streams recently, ad's everywhere, 6-10 minutes behind. I refuse to pay stadium prices (especially supporting arsenal) I was supposed to go watch Reading play ipswhich but in grand scheme of things I'm glad I didn't spunk the money on tickets and travel expenses to watch them lose on pens and an own goal.

I renew my Cardiff season ticket every year whether I can attend the games or someone goes in my place. The blackouts never affected me because i've had the ST since i was a youngen.

Forking out the money it costs to watch Spurs in London is not a vibe every other week. Until spurs change their pricing it'll be dodgy streams for the foreseeable.

I've been streaming for half of my life given that I'm outside of the UK. It's very rare that I don't have a good stream that's more than a minute behind. I'm honestly shocked at how good and easy it has been over these past three years.

Blackout = Games that aren't shown on the major broadcast channels? (Sky, BT, ****ing Amazon and Netflix or something these days too?)

I'm sure BT & Sky show it, I just used my dads whenever he's not using it. Which is **** never these days.

Not a single broadcaster in the UK shows games at 3PM. Pretty much every other country with the Prem show them.

To watch all the football these days you do indeed need Sky, BT/TNT and Amazon, in previous years i've had the lot but i'd rather just go out to watch the games now.

Do you live relatively close to your team? I have to go from south west Cornwall all the way to London, pay for a hotel and other travels like taxis, it becomes an expensive day out for me unfortunately. Unless I'm down in reading visiting my family I can go watch reading.

I live in the Welsh Valleys, about 45 minutes from the city centre. To get to the stadium all in all takes just over an hour.

A home game match day won't cost me more than £100 unless it's a late kick off and there's issues with the late trains.

Me and a few of the boys have spoken about going to a couple Spurs games this season but you're talking £400+ to go up for a game.

It's about the same budget as me really. If we're paying that sort of price for a game, I'd rather save up by buying TNT Package which would be less than half of that. Becoming a joke now. I bought my reading tickets for £30 but again we did lose lol still better than watching it at home. Any day.
