I know theres much better out there for a better price but Van Dijk and Matip could be a solid partnership.The owners are under pressure anyways because alot of people dont like the owners and want them out.I think Van Dijk would be a great signing and it says something if City and Chelsea are after him.He came out and said he wants to join us were in talks without southampton for a price which is to be about 60M.

That's cause he's a guaranteed starter at Liverpool. Other teams might not be a guaranteed starter, hard to dislodge teams with better defensive records etc.


That being said, he's a great center half, much better than Matip. Mad though considering he's double the price of Bailly but half the player

Just press go on Bailly. Literally better in everything defensively... I do agree that Van Dijk is a good defender though, will do better in a better team too. Bailly is a rock though, literally one of the best in the league
