Results from a Chelsea fan poll revealed 25% believe Mourinho won't be at the club next season, however I don't know how many took part in the poll.
I can see why people have that believe with the way results have gone so far this season and his previous history of not doing well in his hire season at clubs, but I think those people need to get rid of that mindset. The club sacked/let go/(left by mutual consent) once already, they can't do that again, Chelsea are lucky to have him as manager for a 2nd time, I'm sure his previous clubs would want the guy back straight away and I think every club would take Mourinho as their manager, the guy is a genius and a natural winner. I know rival fans a lot of the time say they hate/dislike Jose, but deep down I think they would love for him to manage their club and bring trophies to it, it's the same as my own view on Fergie. I admire him for being a natural winner, extremely good manager etc etc. We all have/had our reasons to dislike both Fergie and Mourinho, with some of the stuff they say/do, but we also have behind the dislike, admiration for both managers. I'm sticking by my view that Mou is at Chelsea for the long term, and in my opinion he needs to be, because their aren't many better managers around and you could argue that their isn't a better manager around. |
