It may be dying but there are still so many people out there that will buy the next cod because it's cod. I thought Vanguard was buns but a bunch of people played it lol.

I think they should add all the mw2019 maps to mw3 as well as the gunfight map/tourneys.

Steps they could do to change this but outright refuse:

1) Remove/lower SBMM tactics
2) Keep playlists like shipment permanent
3) Use the "new" MP maps like vortex as round based zombies
4) Relax & cut down on the cost of in game items like cosmetics
5) Rank progression goes back to original roots of prestige systems

Battle pass & the extra battle pass options, in effect will make profit anyway, it's simply greed that is ruining the original meaning behind COD. That was = Fun or sweat. Not everyone wants to sweat, not everyone wants to chill. They need to work on a lot of things when MS takeover. That being said, after halo infinite I am not keeping my hopes up for anything spectacular. Mediocrity at best.

I think they were saving round based for the treyarch game usually its modern then treyarch then modern but everything else is 100% spot on especially the sbmm not saying completely remove it but ping should stay king i dont mind playing pople around my skill level but the clips i have with blatent lag and says im at 30 ping xD.

cod has not been doing good for a long time the last good game to come out was black ops 3 and all the cods before that. cod 2019 was eh okay then after that i have not even bought a new cod they are all horrible

Very far from dead. Allot more competitive than it used to be. I think the better hardwares and internet has made it easier to make people play more similarly skilled players rather than the old games where it was almost geographical match making. Most people who think it's dead have lost their touch and don't enjoy it anymore. And it's fine to move on!
I have 830 hours between mw2 and mw3 and meet new friends daily. Community is alive and well.

The only reason we kept it alive so long is because we are chasing the nostalgia from our childhood.
